Great Spots to Celebrate St. Pat’s Day Near Fairbanks Ranch, CA

Before long, it will be time for Fairbanks Ranch, CA residents to don their green apparel and shamrock pins. So, we wanted to provide a quick preview of which St. Patrick’s Day festivities are already on tap in and around Fairbanks Ranch for March 2015. Here’s what we know about the various planned events thus far:

St. Pat’s Day Parades

Local St. Pat’s Day Parades are expected to take place again this year, including the large one that typically starts on Fifth Avenue. It is slated to wind down Juniper and Upas Streets as well as Sixth Avenue. A 9-hour long Irish Festival is anticipated to occur in Balboa Park as part of the day’s parade and celebration. It is due to kickoff at 9 a.m. and have activities geared towards celebrants of all ages.

Adults Only Irish Parties

Fairbanks Ranch residents 21-years of age and older may want to note that the Annual ShamROCK Celebration is anticipated to return this year as well. It is scheduled to kickoff in San Diego’s downtown area the afternoon of March 14th. Tickets to this year’s event are on sale now. However, the list of entertainers expected to take the stage has yet to be released. That said, residents may want to wait on buying those tickets until the lineup has been revealed.

St. Pat’s Day Golf Outings

The Fairbanks Ranch Country Club is also on track to bring back its men’s golfing event for St. Pat’s Day. This year, the guys are due to tee off at 1 p.m. on March 13th. The country club’s culinary staff is anticipated to offer their classic Italian steakhouse meals and Sunday dinner before the holiday.  Burger night is planned for the 18th. Residents that would like more information about the country club’s St. Pat’s Day event should contact the staff directly.

Celtic Music Concert

Finally, we can’t fail to mention the upcoming Celtic Thunder concert. It is slated to take place the evening of February 26th at the beautiful Balboa Theatre. Even though it’s happening in late February, the concert is still a great way to celebrate one’s Irish roots. Tickets are likely to sell out fast, so Fairbanks Ranch residents interested in attending are encouraged to reserve their seats sooner than later.
